Scientist-B, Junior Scientific Officer

Educational Qualification:
Scientist-B (Chemistry): Candidates Should have Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Forensic Science with Chemistry as a subject in all three years of Bachelor’s Degree. Experience: Minimum of three years experience in analytical methods and research in Chemistry.
Junior Scientific Officer (Toxicology): Candidates Should have Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmacy, and Forensic Science with Chemistry as a subject in B.Sc. from a recognized university. Or associate diploma of the Institution of Chemists (for departmental scientists only). Experience: Three years of experience in research and analytical work in Toxicology in central/state organizations, recognized institutes, or forensic science laboratories.
Pay Scale:
INR
23,300-24,800/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 56 Years.

One copy should be in PDF format, signed by both the applicant and witnesses, while the other should be in Excel format without signatures or witnesses. Additionally, include a copy of the PPO/Release Order, CV/Bio-data, and the will format. An extra KSB undertaking, available on the DGR website, must also be submitted. The vision & mission of Directorate of Forensic Science Service (FSS) is to provide high quality credible forensic services on time to justice delivery system.
The main objective of Directorate of Forensic Science Service (FSS) is to encourage Research & Development activities for innovation of technologies to strengthen forensic services by instituting financial assistance and fellowship schemes for intramural and extramural Research & Development and other incentive programmes to advise Central and State Government in Forensic matters and extend forensic assistance to manage Natural Disasters / Calamities, by promoting the Concept of Quality Assurance and Quality Control in Forensic Services.
