Educational Qualification:
Consultant (Senior Flight Operations Inspector - Aeroplane): Preference will be given to the applicant(s) who are DE/TRIs on aircrafts operated by scheduled airlines including B787, B777, B737, ATR, Q400, A320, Embraer 145, and Embraer 170 and Citation 560XLS/XLS Further to the above, preference will be given to examiner/check pilot on aircrafts operated by NSOPs including Global Express, Bombardier 604/605, Hawker, Falcon, Learjet, Cessna Citation, BD700 series and Beechcraft type of aircrafts.

Age Limit: Maximum 58 Years.
Selection Procedure: Eligible candidates will be called for personal inter-view to assess the personal communication ability , leadership quality , attitude , problem solving ability and ability to get along with the trainees , developmental approach etc., Demonstration / Presentation to assess teaching skills and communication capability may also be required.

Directorate General of Civil Aviation is an attached office of the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation is the regulatory body in the field of Civil Aviation primarily dealing with safety issues. It is responsible for regulation of air transport services to/from/within India and for enforcement of civil air regulations, air safety and airworthiness standards. It also co-ordinates all regulatory functions with International Civil Aviation Organisation.
The headquarters are located in New Delhi with regional offices in the various parts of India.
