A walk-in-Interview will be held on 28th Feb (10.30 A.M in physical mode) at ICARIndian Institute of Soybean Research, Khandwa Road, Indore- 452001 for the position of Junior Research Fellow (1 No.) in the project entitled “Developing of food-grade Soybean using CRISPR/Cas9 mediated multiplex genome editing” . Candidates may fill in the google form for the JRF post by 26 th Feb 2022 (though it is not mandatory) at the link 1. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow 2. Name of Project: DBT funded project entitled “Developing of food-grade Soybean using CRISPR/Cas9 mediated multiplex genome editing ” 3. Name of Nodal Officer: Dr. Vineet Kumar, Principal Scientist (Biochemistry) 4. Nature of Post: Temporary and Contractual 5. No. of post: 01 6. Duration: 27 January 2025 or till the termination of the project 7. Essential qualification: Postgraduate degree in basic science or Postgraduate degree in Biotechnology/ Plant Biotechnology/Agricultural Biotechnology/ Biochemistry / Biochemistry (Plant sciences) Genetics/Plant Breeding/Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Botany or post graduate degree in professional course selected through a process described through any one of the following: A) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility TestCSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (assistant professorship) and GATE. B) The selection process through national level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC, IISER, etc. 8. Desirable qualification: Experience in Plant tissue culture 9. Emoluments: 31000/- To 35000/- for the JRF/GATE/NET qualified candidates

Selection Procedure
1. Only the shortlisted candidates will have to send a copy of filled-in application form duly signed as per the format annexed, along with the self-attested scanned copies of the original documents of the qualifications and a recent photograph pasted onto the scan application.
2. The selected candidates will be required to produce all the original documents and medical & Character certificates at the time of joining.
