Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Manager

Essential: Graduate in Social Work/Psychology/Sociology; Good knowledge of computer and ability to work in MS Office.
Experience: Minimum 03 years experience in supervision related to women issues in government/non-government projects.
Desirable: Refer to official notification.

Eligibility for Warden

Essential: Graduate in any discipline; Good knowledge of computer and proficient in MS Office.
Experience: Preference to candidates with experience in women-related laws/policies/programs.
Desirable: Refer to official notification.

Eligibility for Care Taker

Essential: Higher Secondary / 10+2 or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 02 years experience in building caretaker / multi-purpose assistant supervision.
Desirable: Refer to official notification.

Eligibility for Security Guard / Chowkidar

Essential: To be filled through outsourcing.
Experience: Minimum 02 years experience in security work; Preference to retired military/para-military personnel / women.
Desirable: Refer to official notification.

Note: All staff in Sakhi Niwas must be women only. No relaxation in educational qualification under any circumstances.

Salary / Stipend

Lump sum monthly salary as fixed by Government of India.
Manager: ₹18,420
Warden: ₹14,200
Care Taker: ₹5,766 (part-time)
Security Guard: ₹11,360
No other allowances besides contract salary. Future increments as per Government of India directions.

Age Limit (as on 1 January 2025)

Manager and Warden: Not less than 25 years and not more than 45 years.
Care Taker and Security Guard: Not less than 25 years.

Selection Process

Merit based on marks system (Educational percentage: max 60 marks; Additional experience: max 20 marks; Total 80 marks). From merit list, candidates called in 1:5 ratio for Walk-in-Interview / Skill Test (20 marks).
