Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• For Steno-Typist:
  • Degree in Arts, Science, Commerce, or Law from a recognized university in India.
  • Government Technical Examination pass in English Shorthand with a speed of 120 words per minute (or Lower Grade if Higher Grade is not available).
  • Government Technical Examination pass in English Typewriting in Higher Grade (45 w.p.m.) or Lower Grade if Higher Grade is not available.
  • Knowledge or qualification in computer operation.
• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years, Maximum 44 years. Age relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST/BC/EWS/Aboriginal Tribes in Agency areas, 10 years for differently-abled persons.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection process includes the following stages:

1. OMR-based Objective Examination: 40 marks, duration 45 minutes.
2. Skill Test (Stenography): 40 marks.
3. Oral Interview (Viva-Voce): 20 marks.
