District Court Mulugu Vacancy & Pay Scale (Dis No. 8037)

Age Relaxation: SC / ST / BC / EWS candidates – 5 years; Candidates with physical fitness disabilities – 10 years.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Post: Typist
• Qualification: Must have passed Bachelor's Degree from any recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, State Act, Provincial Act, or an institution recognized by the University Grants Commission.
• Technical Qualification: Must have passed the Telangana Government Technical Examination in English Typewriting by Higher Grade qualification or its equivalent examination.
• Computer Knowledge: Must have knowledge or qualification in computer operation.
• Nationality: Candidates must be eligible under the Telangana State and Subordinate Rules, 1996.
• Employment Status: The appointment is purely on a contract basis under Rule 9 of the Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996, for a period of one year. It is not a permanent government job and does not carry pension or permanent cadre benefits.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

1. Typewriting Test: A test in Typewriting will be conducted to assess the technical efficiency of candidates for the post of Typist.
2. Oral Interview: Candidates qualified in the Typewriting Test will be called for an oral interview.
3. Shortlisting Clause: In the event that more than 20 applications are received, candidates will be shortlisted based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination as per the applicable rules. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an oral interview.
4. No TA/DA: No Travel Allowance / Dearness Allowance will be paid for the journey performed in connection with the appointment or the selection process.

How to Apply – Offline Application Process

1. Download the official notification and application form from the official website at https://districts.ecourts.gov.in/mulugu.
2. Fill out the application form completely with all required details.
3. Affix a recent passport-size photograph onto the designated space on the application form.
4. Enclose attested copies of academic qualification certificates, mark sheets, pass certificates, provisional certificates, technical qualification certificates, date of birth certificate, community certificate (if applicable), and local / non-local candidature certificate.
5. Enclose a self-addressed Registered Post cover with acknowledgment (RPAD) worth Rs. 25/- or as fixed by the Postal Department.
6. Place the application and all enclosures in a sealed cover.
7. Superscribe the envelope with the full postal address: PRL. DISTRICT AND SESSIONS JUDGE, MULUGU.
8. Send the sealed cover exclusively by Speed Post or Courier on or before 22-10-2026 by 05:00 p.m. Applications sent directly or in person will not be entertained.

Important Instructions

• The appointment is purely on a contract basis under Rule 9 of the Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996, for a period of one year on executing a deed of agreement.
• Applications received after 05:00 p.m. on 22-10-2026 will not be accepted.
• The contract appointment shall automatically cease to be in operation unless a fresh proposal is made and a new contract is entered into.
• No TA and DA will be paid for the journey performed in connection with the appointment.
• Applications with insufficient information will be summarily rejected.
• No correspondence will be entertained in any respect.
• Candidates resorting to bring influence of any kind will be disqualified summarily.
• The Principal District Judge and Sessions Judge, Mulugu reserves the right to cancel the notification without assigning any reason.
