Eligibility for District Microbiologist IDSP-CD
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology / M.Sc. in Microbiology
- Desirable Qualification: Ph.D or M.Phil in Microbiology/ Medical Microbiology
- Desirable Experience: Working experience in the field of Microbiology or in Public Health after M.Sc.
Age Limit & Application Fee
- Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026): Minimum 21 years and Maximum 40 years (Age relaxation for reserved candidates as per govt. norms).
- Application Fee: Unreserved candidates: ₹100/-; Reserved Category candidates: ₹50/-
🎯 Selection Process
- Applications will initially be shortlisted on the basis of academic qualification and experience.
- Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a Computer Test and Interview.
- Marking Scheme:
- M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology / M.Sc. in Microbiology: 50 Marks
- Ph.D or M.Phil in Microbiology/ Medical Microbiology: 10 Marks
- Experience: 10 Marks (2 marks for each completed year)
- Computer Test: 15 Marks
- Interview: 15 Marks
- Total: 100 Marks
