Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Specialist Medical Officer (G & O) / (Pediatrician)

  • Essential: MBBS from NMC/MCI recognized Institute with Post-Graduate degree/DNB/Diploma in Gynaecology & Obstetrics / Paediatrics. Must be registered under WBMC.
  • Other: Permanent resident of West Bengal with knowledge of local language.

Eligibility for Medical Officer (GDMO) / Medical Officer (XVFC)

  • Essential: MBBS from NMC recognized Institute with one-year compulsory internship. Must be registered under WBMC.
  • Other: Permanent resident of West Bengal with knowledge of local language.

Eligibility for Psychiatrist

  • Essential: MBBS with PG Degree (MD/DNB) or Diploma (DPM) in Psychiatry from UGC-recognized University. Valid registration with WBMC.
  • Desirable: Experience in Psychiatry/Public Health Service.
  • Other: Permanent resident of West Bengal with knowledge of local language.

Eligibility for Specialist Medical Officers (Part Time)

  • Essential: MBBS from MCI recognized Institute with relevant PG Degree/DNB/Diploma in Medicine/Paediatric Medicine/Gynaecology & Obstetrics/Ophthalmology. Registered under WBMC.
  • Other: Permanent resident of West Bengal with knowledge of local language.

Eligibility for Community Health Assistant (Urban)

  • Essential: Passed ANM course from INC recognized institute OR GNM course from INC recognized institute. Registered with West Bengal Nursing Council.
  • Other: Proficient in Bengali and permanent resident of Jhargram District.

Eligibility for Multi Rehabilitation Worker

  • Essential: Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy with at least 2 years’ working experience in a hospital.
  • Desirable: Master Degree in Physiotherapy.

Eligibility for District Manager (Public Health)

  • Essential: MBBS/Dental/AYUSH/Nursing graduate with Masters in Hospital Administration/Health Management (MHA Full-time or equivalent). Minimum 2 years’ experience in Public Health/Hospital Administration.
  • Desirable: Training and experience in recognized quality systems (e.g., NABH/ISO 9001-2008/Six Sigma/Kaizen).

Eligibility for Blood Bank Laboratory Technician

  • Essential: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biological Science + DMLT/DLT OR BMLT OR M.Sc in MLT / PGDMLT. Working knowledge of computer.
  • Experience: Six months (Degree/PG) or one year (Diploma) in blood testing/blood component preparation in licensed Blood Bank.

Eligibility for Yoga Instructor (Male/Female)

  • Essential: Secondary/Madhyamik passed. One-year Yoga and Naturopathy Certificate Course run by WBCYN. Registered with WBCYN.
  • Other: Permanent resident of West Bengal.

Eligibility for Group-D (AYUSH)

  • Essential: Retired State Government Employees.
  • Other: Upper age limit 62 years as on 01.01.2026. Must be physically and mentally fit.
