Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati requires PROJECT ASSISTANT to work in a ICMR supported Ad-hoc NER project "Assessment of Cancer Antigen CA 15.3 as predictive and prognostic marker of tumor burden and recurrence in breast cancer patients" at Dr B. Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati. The position is temporary and on contractual basis.

1. Name of post : Project Assistant

2. No of Post : 01

3. Salary : Rs.31,000/- per month (consolidated)

4. Eligibility : Candidates holding Master's degree from a recognised university with 60% aggregate or more [55% for SC/STI in the subjects of Biotechnology/ Biochemistry / Molecular Biology / Cancer Biology

5. Duration: Initial appointment is for one year, which is extendable solely based on the performance till co-terminus with project. The candidate will have NO right to claim for permanent employment under ICMR / BBCI or for continuation of his / her services in any other project.

Selection Procedure

1. The decision of the Institute as to eligibility or otherwise ofa candidate will be final.

2. The decision of the Selection Committee shall be final and binding as regards the modalities of selection.

3. Selected candidate / appointee will not have any clairn for regular appointment at BBCI.

4. No TA/DA would be paid for appearing in the interview.
