Educational Qualification:
Professor: a. Ph. D. degree in relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch of concerned/relevant/allied department. AND b. Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor.
Associate Professor: Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’slevel in the relevant branch of concerned/relevant/allied department. AND b. At least total 6 research publications in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals.
Assistant Professor: A Master‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a Environmental Science/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University established by Divyangjan Sashaktikaran Vibhag Uttar Pradesh, Government of Uttar Pradesh came up by an Ordinance dated August 29, 2008, later replaced by U.P. Act No. 1 of 2009, dated February 19, 2009, and U.P. Act No. 24 of 2011, dated November 28, 2011.

Our mandate is primarily to serve the differently-abled segment (challenged students) of society for which a horizontal reservation of 50% seats in all courses of the University has been provided, in addition to the normal reservation policy.
