East Coast Railway Invites Application for MV Driver-III Recruitment 2022

Sub: Notification for filling up of MV Driver-III in Level-02 in East Coast Railway/HQ against 25% departmental promotion quota.

i. Applications are invited from service permanent railway employee of East Coast Railway for filling up of MV Driver-III in Level-02 in East Coast Railway/HQ on regular basis against 25% departmental promotion quota as per conditions stipulated as under:

1. Post Name: MV Driver III

2. No of Post: 02 (Two) Break up Vacancies 

3. Pay Scale: Level 02

4. Eligibility:

i. Serving regular employee from the categories of erstwhile Group-D in Level- 01 (Except RPF/RPSF Personnel & Accounts Department)

ii. Possessing valid driving license (LMV) to drive staff car & elementary knowledge of Motor Mechanics. (The candidate should be able to rectify minor defects in vehicles.)

iii. Minimum three years regular service in the categories of erstwhile Group-D as on date of notification.

iv. Possessing the minimum educational qualification of Matriculation from a recognized Institute/Board.

Selection Procedure

a. The eligible staff who satisfy the above prescribed conditions of eligibility will be called for selection which will comprise of Trade Test and passing of medical test in the medical category of A-3.

b. The Trade Test should comprise both oral and practical and may include written test wherever considered necessary.

c. There is no relaxation to SC/ST candidate in the Trade Test as the vacancy reserved for UR category only. If any SC/ST candidate apply against this notification, their application will be considered but they will qualify the trade test at par with UR candidate.

d. The panel will be formed for notified vacancies on the basis of merit in the Trade Test and subject to free from SPE/Vigilance/DAR and undergoing unishment etc if any.
