ECL ITI Apprentice Vacancy Details (Trade-wise & Category-wise)

The 140 ITI Apprentice vacancies are distributed across three trades. Below is the detailed breakdown for each trade with reservation categories.

Training duration is one year. The contract will be automatically terminated after completion of one year from the start of practical training.

Eligibility Criteria for ECL ITI Apprentice 2026

Candidates must meet the following conditions to apply for any trade:

• Possess an ITI certificate in the trade applied for.
• Be registered on the NAPS portal in the same trade.
• Secure at least 40% marks in the qualifying ITI examination.
• Apply for only one trade and one state (West Bengal or Jharkhand). Applying for more will lead to rejection.

Selection Process for ECL ITI Apprentice 2026

Selection is merit-based on ITI marks. Steps:

1. Merit list prepared from ITI marks.
2. Tie-breaker: earlier year of passing, then older date of birth, then earlier NAPS registration.
3. Document verification.
4. Training engagement letter issued.
5. Joining at designated place.
6. Contract creation at HRD office.

No written exam – selection purely on merit.
