Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) has released the notification for Apprentices Recruitment 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh engineering graduates and diploma holders to undergo one-year training at ECIL's Hyderabad facility under the Department of Atomic Energy. A total of 248 apprenticeships are available.

Reservation Note:

Reservations for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD candidates will be followed as per Government norms. If sufficient Engineering Graduates are NOT attending/joining, vacant positions will be engaged with Diploma holders and vice versa.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Graduate Engineer Apprentice (GEA)

• Essential Qualification: Candidates who have passed B.E./B.Tech. course in ECE, CSE/IT, Mechanical, EEE, EIE, Civil, Chemical branches. Qualification obtained on or after 1st April 2023. Degree must be from AICTE approved colleges / recognized Indian Universities.
• Experience: Freshers eligible.

Eligibility for Technician (Diploma) Apprentices (TA)

• Essential Qualification: Candidates who have passed 3 Years Diploma course in ECE, CSE/IT, Mechanical, EEE, EIE, Civil, Chemical branches. Diploma obtained on or after 1st April 2023.
• Experience: Freshers eligible.

General Eligibility

• Registration: Candidates must register on National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal: www.nats.education.gov.in before applying.
• Residency: Candidates residing All Over India and only Indian residents are eligible.
• Ineligibility: Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship under Apprenticeship Act 1961 are not eligible.

Age Limit

As on 31-12-2025

• Maximum Age: 25 years
• SC/ST: +5 years (Max 30 years)
• OBC (NCL): +3 years (Max 28 years)
• PwD (40% and above): +10 years (Max 35 years)

Important Dates

Selection Process

Selection will be based on merit derived from qualifying examination marks (B.E./B.Tech. for GEA, Diploma for TA) after successful document verification at CLDC-ECIL Hyderabad. In case of CGPA, a conversion certificate is required.
