ECIL ITI Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Post-Wise Vacancy & Details

ECIL has announced 310 ITI Trade Apprentice seats across 13 trades at its Hyderabad facility. The apprenticeship period is one year, commencing from 02 November 2026. Selection is based purely on ITI marks merit.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess an ITI Pass Certificate (NCVT) in the respective trade from an Indian institute recognized by the Appropriate Statutory Authority.
• Age Limit (as on 31 October 2026):
  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • Maximum age: 25 years (General / EWS)
  • Maximum age: 28 years (Other Backward Class)
  • Maximum age: 30 years (Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe)
  • Additional 10 years relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PWD) candidates
• Other Requirements:
  • Only candidates residing in all districts of Telangana State are eligible to apply.
  • PWD candidates must have a disability degree of 40% and above.
  • All qualifications must be from Indian institutes recognized by Appropriate Statutory Authority.
  • Candidates who have already completed or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 in any Government, PSU, or Private organisation are not eligible.

Application Process & Steps to Apply

Applications are accepted only in online mode. Candidates must complete a mandatory registration on the MSDE apprenticeship portal before submitting the application on the ECIL website.

1. Step 1: Register on the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship portal at www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
2. Step 2: Submit the online application through the ECIL website at www.ecil.co.in → Human Resources → Current Job Openings.
3. Step 3: After applying online, take a printout of the registered application form and note the system-generated application number for all future references.
4. Step 4: A re-print of the registered online application form can be taken before the last date for online registration.

Application window: 30 September 2026 (18:00 hrs) to 11 October 2026 (23:59 hrs). No other mode of application will be accepted.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection of ITI Trade Apprentices at ECIL Hyderabad is carried out through the following stages:

• Stage 1 – ITI Marks Merit: Candidates will be ranked and selected solely on the basis of their marks obtained in the NCVT ITI examination in the respective trade.
• Reservation Quota: 70% of seats will be engaged from Government ITI students and 30% of seats from Private ITI students.
• Stage 2 – Document Verification: Original documents will be verified for shortlisted candidates. The date, time, mode, and venue of document verification will be hosted on the ECIL website and intimated by email.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Document Verification.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

Candidates must carry the following documents at the time of Document Verification:

1. Online registered application form duly signed by the candidate with a recent colour passport-size photograph affixed.
2. All original certificates in support of MSDE Registration, date of birth, identity (Government-issued only — Aadhaar, Driving License, Passport, etc.), Educational Qualification, and latest Caste / Disability (PWD) certificates (wherever applicable), along with a set of photocopies.
3. Category certificate in support of SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS in the prescribed proforma as hosted on www.ecil.co.in portal.

Note: The application is liable for rejection at any stage of the recruitment process if submitted with incorrect information. If any shortcoming is noticed even after apprenticeship commencement, the apprenticeship will be liable for termination forthwith.
