Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E, M.E/M.Tech

a) Name of the Post : Project Associate

b) Job Profile: Experienced (2-5 years) candidates have a fundamental knowledge of optimization of the HVAC systems, electrical distribution systems, the system controls building management system, energy audits and green building concepts.

1) Good understanding of Electrical machines, various power systems and power quality.

2) Understanding of policies and research work related to the building sector.

3) Understanding of green building rating system i.e. GRIHA, USGBC LEED, and IGBC ratings.

4) Familiar with different building codes and standards such as ASHRAE, ECBC, NBC and other relevant codes.

5) Expertise in building energy modelling and sound knowledge of simulation tools

6) Understanding of fundamentals for conducting detailed energy audits (HVAC and electrical systems) of existing buildings and systems and identification of energy

conservation measures and cost-benefit analysis.

7) Good writing skills to develop proposals and to develop a high-quality technical report

c) Experience : 2 - 5 years

d)  Qualification B.E/B.tech in Electrical /Mechanical Engineering, M.E/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical /Energy Engineering/Equivalent.

e) Skills:  Applicant must be confident, persuasive with excellent written and verbal skills and networking abilities.

f)   Salary : Rs. As per TERI Norms.
