EDII, an autonomous and not-for-profit organisation, set up in 1983, is promoted by apex financial institutions with support from the Government of Gujarat. It is a Centre of Excellence in skilling ecosystem, as recognised by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India. EDII has also been ranked Number 1 by Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) in General (Non-Technical) Category. 1. Post Name : IT Manager 2. Education & Experience: Master’s Degree in Computer Application/ Engineering with experience in software development/ Website management/online business development/ monitoring and evaluation. Work experience in rural entrepreneurship/ social projects will be an added advantage. The position will be of Manager with 2-3 years’ experience in the relevant field. 3. Type of Employment: On Contractual basis. 4. Maximum Remuneration: Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 45,000 Per month 5. Job description a) Manage all IT related aspects of WE ACT including website design, customer service, web analytics and web technologies, SEO, business planning, content strategy and development, promotional campaigns and other online marketing b) Develop monitoring and evaluation platforms and ensure timely reporting by stakeholders c) Develop systems for information dissemination to WE ACT members, on matters related to Government schemes, funding options, market demand etc. d) Enhance reporting platforms for ease of access as well as quality of reports generated e) Create interactive content like videos, podcasts etc. to document the working of WE ACT and its enterprises f) Orchestrate trainings to all relevant stakeholders on using IT related platforms developed for WE ACT Any other work assigned by EDII South Regional Office 6. The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) is an autonomous organization that was established in 1983 with the aim of promoting entrepreneurship education, research, training and institution building. It is based in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India.
EDII offers a variety of programs and courses to support aspiring entrepreneurs and existing business owners. These include short-term and long-term training programs, management development programs, entrepreneurship development programs, and online courses.
The institute has partnerships with various organizations and institutions in India and around the world to promote entrepreneurship and support the growth of startups. It has also undertaken research and consultancy projects for the government and other organizations on various aspects of entrepreneurship and enterprise development.
