Post-Wise Vacancy & Stipend Details

The Government of NCT of Delhi has announced 75 tentative internship positions across five forensic divisions under the Forensic Science Laboratory. The stipend is a fixed monthly amount of Rs. 30,000 for all posts.

Note: Candidates who have previously worked as a paid intern in FSL, Delhi are not eligible to apply for this recruitment.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Intern (Chemistry)

• Master's degree in Chemistry or Toxicology or Biochemistry or Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects or papers during all three years of Bachelor of Science level, from a recognized university in Delhi.

Intern (Biology)

• Master's degree in Zoology or Botany or Microbiology or Anthropology or Biology or Human Biology or Life Science or Biochemistry or Genetics or Biotechnology or Molecular Biology or Forensic Science with Zoology or Botany as one of the subjects or papers during all three years of B.Sc. level, from a recognized university in Delhi.
• OR B.E./B.Tech in Biotechnology from a recognized university in Delhi.

Intern (Ballistics)

• Master's degree in Physics or Mathematics or Applied Mathematics or Forensic Science with Physics or Mathematics as one of the subjects or papers during all three years of B.Sc. level, from a recognized university in Delhi.

Intern (Cyber Forensic)

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Application or Information Technology or Physics with specialization in Electronics / Cyber Security, from a recognized university in Delhi.
• OR B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology or Electronics & Communication Engineering or Electricals & Electronics Engineering, from a recognized university in Delhi.

Intern (Physics/A/V)

• Master's degree in Physics or Applied Physics or Computer Science or Electronics or Forensic Science with Physics as one of the subjects or papers during all three years at B.Sc. level, from a recognized university in Delhi.
• OR B.E./B.Tech in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science, Instrumentation, Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Information Technology, Electronics, or Electrical & Electronics (EEE), from a recognized university in Delhi.

Age Limit & Relaxation

• Minimum age: 21 years, Maximum age: 27 years as on 23 October 2026.
• Age relaxation for SC/ST and OBC candidates as per prevailing Government of NCT of Delhi rules.

Selection Process

The selection of interns is based on two stages:

Important: Only candidates whose applications pass the initial scrutiny will be called for the interview. The interview will be conducted on the schedule dates for each division. No written test is mentioned for this recruitment. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the interview.

Interview Schedule:

• 03 November 2026 (Tuesday): Chemistry, Biology, and Ballistics divisions
• 04 November 2026 (Wednesday): Cyber Forensic and Physics (A/V) divisions
• 05 November 2026 (Thursday): All remaining candidates (if any)

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

Candidates must enclose self-attested photocopies of the following documents along with the offline application form:

• Self-attested photocopies of all relevant degree certificates and consolidated mark sheets (M.Sc. / B.E. / B.Tech in the applicable discipline).
• Self-attested photocopies of all academic testimonials and supporting certificates.
• Valid Photo ID Proof — Driving License, Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, Bank Passbook with photograph duly attested by a Nationalized Bank, or Passport.
• One recent passport-size photograph must be affixed on the designated space of the application form.
• Valid Category / Caste Certificate (if claiming age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC).
