Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification: Candidate must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Technical Skills: Must possess a 6-month Diploma in Computer Operation and a 1-year course in shorthand with a typing/shorthand speed of 80 words per minute.
• Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years as on the last date of receipt of online application. Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates receive a 5-year age relaxation (upper age limit of 37 years). Government Employees receive relaxation equal to years of service served, subject to a maximum of 5 years.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection process comprises three stages:

1. Stage-I (Written Examination - 200 marks): Part 1 covers General English, Precise writing, Essay writing, Drafting translation, and English Grammar (100 marks). Part 2 covers General knowledge, Current affairs, and Mathematics (100 marks). Candidates equal to 5 times the number of vacancies (1:5) in order of merit will qualify for Stage-II.
2. Stage-II (Practical / Speed test - 50 marks): Shorthand test, computer proficiency, and typing test. Candidates equal to 3 times the number of vacancies (1:3) in order of merit will qualify for Stage-III.
3. Stage-III (Interview / Viva Voce - 50 marks): Document verification and viva voce. Candidates must secure at least 60% marks (30 out of 50) to qualify the interview.

Note: No Travel Allowance (TA)/Daily Allowance (DA) will be paid to candidates appearing for the examination/interview.
