Number of Vacancy: 13 Posts
Educational Qualification: Senior Surgeon: (i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post-graduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in speciality concerned. (iii) Work in a responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 3 years after post-graduation degree or 5 years after post graduation Diploma. Junior Surgeon: (i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post-graduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned. (iii) In case of Diploma holders, Work in responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 2 years after post-graduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Assistant Professor: (i) Good Academic record with at least 55%* of marks or equivalent grade at Masterโs Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. (ii) National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SET) shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant Professor: Provided, however, that candidates who are or have been awarded Ph. D. Degree in compliance of the โUniversity Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph. D. Degree), Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Collegesโ. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Scientific Assistant and Photographer: (i) Degree in Science with at least second class from a recognised University. (ii) Diploma in Photography or Certificate course in Advanced Photography from a recognized Institution. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Scientific Officer (DNA): (1) Masterโs Degree with Second Class in Microbiology /Genetics /Zoology/ Biotechnology/ Forensic Science with Zoology as one of the subject at the level of Bachelorโs Degree in Science from a recognized University. (2) Five Years Experience in the relevant field in a State/Central Forensic Science Laboratory. (3) Knowledge of Computer (4) Knowledge of Konkani. Marine Engineer and Ship Surveyor: (i) Certificate of competency as 1st Class Engineer(Motor) issued under the Merchant Shipping Act,1958(Central Act 44 of 1958). (ii) 3 years experience as 2nd Class Engineer on board foreign going/home trade ships. (iii) Certificate of sight test in Form Vision and Colour Vision from a Medical Board. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. District Welfare Officer: (i) Degree in Social Service or Social Welfare or Social Work or Sociology from a recognised University or Equivalent. (ii) Five Years experience in relevant field in Government Department/Semi Government Organization.
Pay Scale: INR 40000-45000/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 45 Years.
