Accountant, Helper and Various Posts

Educational Qualification:
Accountant:
(1) Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Arts with Economics, from a recognized University /Institution.
(2) Knowledge of Konkani.

Assistant State Tax Officer:
(1) Degree of a recognised University, preferably in Economics or Commerce.
(2) Experience of atleast 2 years in commercial accounts in a responsible capacity in Government or Semi-Government or Commercial or Banking Organisation of repute or in a firm of Chartered Accountants of standing.
(3) Knowledge of Konkani.

State Tax Inspector:
(1) Degree in Commerce and Economics of a recognized University.
(2) Work experience of one year with a Chartered Accountant/ Tax Practitioner/ Finalization of Accounts in Banking Institutes or work experience of one year as Accountant/ Account Clerk/ Account Assistant in any firm/ Institution.
(3) Physical requirements: Male Candidate: (i) Height: 167 cms. (ii) Chest: 75 cms. Walking test: 1600 meters in 20 minutes. Female Candidate: (i) Height: 158 cms. (ii) Weight: 48 kgs. Walking test: One kilometer in 20 minutes.
(4) Knowledge of Konkani.

Junior Engineer (Mechanical/ Electrical):
(1) Degree from a recognized University or Diploma from a recognized Institutions in the concerned branch of Engineering i.e. Mechanical/Electrical.
(2) Knowledge of Konkani.

Junior Engineer (Electrical):
(1) Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institutions.
(2) Knowledge of Konkani.

Junior Engineer (Civil):
(1) Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institutions.
(2) Knowledge of Konkani.

Extension Officer:
(1) Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture from a University recognized by the Indian Council of Agriculture Research.
(2) Knowledge of Computer application.
(3) Knowledge of Konkani.

Station Operator:
(1) Secondary School Certificate Examination from a recognized Board/Institution or equivalent qualification.
(2) Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade of Electrician from a recognized Institution.
(3) National Apprenticeship Certificate in the trade of Electrician, awarded by an appropriate authority under the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT). OR
(3) 3 years experience in the electrical field.
(4) Knowledge of Computer.
(5) Knowledge of Konkani.

Assistant Sub-Inspector (Wireless Operator):
(1) S.S.C. or equivalent.
(2) Diploma in Electronics of a recognized Institution. failing which At least 5 years practical experience in repairs and/or
operation of wireless equipment, in a reputed firm. failing both Ex-Serviceman who has worked as Gr. I Wireless Operator
in active service with 2 years experience.
(3) Knowledge of Konkani.

Mechanic Grade-I (Diesel):
(1) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from recognized institution OR Certificate in Diesel Mechanic or equivalent from recognized Industrial Training Institute with three years experience in maintenance in Marine Diesel Engine.
(2) Knowledge of Konkani.

Agriculture Assistant:
(1) (i) Higher Secondary School Certificate in Vocational Stream with specialization of Agriculture from a recognized Board/Institute. OR
(i) Secondary School Certificate Examination.
(ii) Minimum two years Diploma in Agriculture from arecognized Board/Institute.
(2) Knowledge of Konkani.

Electrician:
(1) Certificate of Electrician from Government Electrical Instructor or a Trade Certificate of Electrician from I.T.I.
(2) Two years practical experience as Electrician.
(3) Knowledge of Konkani.

Lineman/Wireman:
(1) (a)(i) A certificate in Electrician trade issued by an appropriate authority under the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), Government of India or under the State Council for Vocational Training, Government of Goa. (ii) Two years experience in electrical field. Or (b) National Apprenticeship Certificate in the trade of Electrician awarded by an appropriate authority under the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), Government of India
(2) Knowledge of Konkani.

Meter Reader:
(1) Secondary School Certificate Examination OR equivalent.
(2) I.T.I Certificate in the trade of Electrician or Electronic from a recognized Institution.
(3) Diploma in Computer from a recognized Institution.
(4) Knowledge of Konkani.

Assistant Electrician:
(1) Certificate issued by Industrial Training Institute in the trade of Electrician.
(2) 3 years experience as Electrician.
(3) Knowledge of Konkani.

Assistant Mechanic:
(1) Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized University or Institution with:-
(a) one year experience of maintenance/ repairing of printing and allied equipments in a Institution/ Press or
(b) Ability to read the name of spare parts of Machines used in printing industry (other than lino/ mono type) and casting machines/ including lathe and other machines workshop and off servicing and maintenance of offset and other machines. OR
(1) Certificate issued by Industrial Training Institute in the trade or equivalent from a recognized Institute with 3 years experience in the trade (Mechanical).
(2) Should pass the qualifying trade test.
(3) Knowledge of Konkani.

Assistant Light Operator:
(1) I.T.I. Certificate in Electrical from a recognized Institution
(2) Knowledge of Konkani.

Helper (Electrician):
(1) I.T.I Certificate in the relevant trade or equivalent from a recognized Institution, failing which, minimum two years
experience in the relevant trade.
(2) Knowledge of Konkani.

Pay Scale:
