Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Research Assistant (1 Post): Master's degree in Economics / Statistics / Data Science / Social Sciences / Population Studies or a related discipline. Required experience includes ability to identify, access and extract data from diverse sources; familiarity with Census of India, NSO/NSS, Maharashtra Government publications, District Statistical Abstracts and Tribal Development Department data; proficiency in MS Excel, STATA, R or Python for data organisation and cleaning.
• Research Associate (1 Post): PhD / Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, Data Science, Population Studies or a related discipline. Required experience includes strong working knowledge of Marathi and English; ability to independently identify, extract, clean, validate and analyse large and diverse datasets; proven research-writing, documentation and report-preparation skills.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Applications will be shortlisted by GIPE on the basis of academic qualifications, relevant experience and technical skills.
• Shortlisted candidates may be called for a written test and/or personal interview as determined by the selection committee.
• Document verification will be conducted at the time of interview.
• No Travel Allowance (TA) or Dearness Allowance (DA) will be paid to candidates attending the interview or test.
