Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Social Science, Sociology, Psychology, or any degree with 50 % marks in Mathematics at the 12th standard.
- Knowledge of English and a local language (Assamese, Bengali, Bodo) as subjects during HSLC.
- Minimum 6‑month Computer Course certificate from a Government‑recognised institute (exemptions for BCA, B.Tech in IT/Engineering with IT/Computer Application).
- Valid Employment Exchange registration certificate in the State of Assam.
- Must be at least 21 years and not more than 40 years as on 01/01/2026 (age relaxations as per category).
Selection Process & Screening Clause
The selection will be made in two stages:
- Stage I – OMR Written Examination: 150 multiple‑choice questions (Social Studies, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, General Mathematics, General English, Reading Comprehension) for 175 marks. Duration: 3 hours. Candidates will be shortlisted at the ratio of 1:2 of the vacancy (i.e., 36 candidates).
- Stage II – Computer Skill Test: 25 marks for the shortlisted candidates.
Final Selection: Based on the total marks obtained in both stages, following reservation rules.
Important: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the examination or skill test.
