Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Nationality / Domicile

• Candidates must be native residents of Chhattisgarh.
• A valid Chhattisgarh domicile certificate is mandatory.

Educational Qualification – Computer Programmer

• First Division B.E in Computer Science / MCA / M.Sc (Computer Science) / B.E (Information Technology)
• Preference will be given to candidates possessing knowledge of Data Net Technologies / Java / MS SQL / Oracle.

Age Limit

• Age provisions are governed by the Chhattisgarh Government General Administration Department order issued vide letter dated 16 September 2026 (Rule 38 revised to 45 years for government servants, corporation, board, municipal corporations, and municipal council employees working in government service).
• The age calculation shall be reckoned as on 01 January 2026.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection will be based on the following weightage criteria:

• Educational Qualification Percentage: Up to 70 marks – based on percentage of marks obtained in the minimum required qualification.
• Computer / Practical Test: 15 marks – evaluating knowledge of Data Net Technologies, Java, MS SQL, or Oracle.
• Work Experience in Government Rural Development Projects: Up to 5 marks for up to 2 years of experience; up to 10 marks for experience beyond 2 years (at regular pay level).

Screening Clause: If the number of received applications is high, candidates will be called for a skill test / interview in the ratio of 1:10 against the vacancy, based on merit.

No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for the skill test or interview.

Important Instructions

• Applications received directly by hand or after the closing date and time will not be entertained.
• Applicants currently working in government service, corporations, boards, or municipal councils must submit their application through the proper channel along with a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
• Incomplete, unclear, or defective applications will be summarily rejected without separate notification.
• The contract appointment will be valid up to 28 February 2027, subject to extension based on work performance, capacity, and annual performance appraisal.
