Sub:- Filling-up of vacant posts of Scientific Assistant, Environmental Assistant & Junior Law Officer under general category in the Department of Environment & Climate Change, Government of Goa
1. Position: Scientific Assistant
2. No. of Post: 06
3. Pay Level in the Pay Matrix: Level - 6
4. Essential:- (i) Degree in Sciencein Chemistry/ Environment /Botany/ Zoology from a recognised University. (ii) Three years experience inrelevant field. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
5. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
1. Position: Environmental Assistant
2. No. of Post: 04
3. Pay Level in the Pay Matrix: Level - 6
4. Essential:- (i) Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering from a recognized University or Degreein Science in Environment related subjects such as Microbiology, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry from a recognized University. (iv) Three years experience inrelevant field. (v) Knowledge of Konkani.
5. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
1. Position: Junior Law Officer

4. Essential:- (i) Degree in Law from a from a recognized University. (ii) Four years of practice. (vi) Knowledge of Konkani.

Selection Procedure
As per O.M. No. 1/6/83-PER(Vol.II)Pt.(a) dated 08.01.2016,the criteriaforselection for Group “C” posts shall be solely based on the skill Test / writtenexamination and that no oral interview will be undertaken as per instructionscontained in the O.M. No. 1/6//83-PDER(Vol.II)pl(a)/143 dated 14.01.2019andthe decision of the Director (Envt. &CC) on any issue will be final.

1. Applications are invited by the Director/Jt. Secy(Environment &Climate Change), Panaji - Goa for filling up posts in Group‘C’ in Department of Environment and Climate Change, Panaji - Goa.
2. Interestedand eligible candidates may submit their applications giving details inprescribed format addressed to “The Director, Department of Environment and Climate Change, Panaji - Goa” so as to reach this office on or before 04/05/2022 by 5.00 p.m.
3. Applicants who have applied earlier based on advertisement dated10/01/2022 need not apply again.
4. The application forms will be received at O/o of the Director, Department of Environment & Climate Change, 4 th floor, Dempo Towers, Patto, Panaji - Goa during office hours between 10.00 amto 12.00 noonand2.30 pm to 5.00 pm.
5. The application can also be sent by ordinary post soasto reach this office before the last date of submission i.e. 04/05/2022.
