Note: This is a contractual / visiting specialist engagement. The remuneration is paid on a per-slot basis (Rs. 2,000 for every two-hour slot per day). This does not constitute a permanent government position with pension or regular cadre benefits.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Specialist (Paediatrician): MBBS Degree with MD/DNB in Paediatrics or DCH from a recognized university. Must be registered with the State Medical Council or Medical Council of India (MCI) / National Medical Commission (NMC). Experience in Newborn Care Unit (NCCU) or SNCU is preferred.
• Specialist (Surgery): MBBS Degree with MS/DNB in General Surgery from a recognized university. Must be registered with the State Medical Council or MCI/NMC. Relevant clinical experience preferred.
• Specialist (Orthopaedics): MBBS Degree with MS/DNB in Orthopaedics from a recognized university. Must be registered with the State Medical Council or MCI/NMC. Hospital-based clinical experience preferred.
• Specialist (Medicine): MBBS Degree with MD/DNB/Diploma in General Medicine from a recognized university. Must be registered with the State Medical Council or MCI/NMC. Hospital-based clinical experience preferred.
• Specialist (ENT): MBBS Degree with MD/DNB/Diploma in ENT from a recognized university. Must be registered with the State Medical Council or MCI/NMC. Hospital-based clinical experience preferred.
• Specialist (Psychiatrist): MBBS Degree with MD/DNB/Diploma in Psychiatry from a recognized university. Must be registered with the State Medical Council or MCI/NMC. Hospital-based clinical experience preferred.

Age Limit: Maximum 62 years for all posts. Age relaxation, if any, will be as per Government of India / Chandigarh Administration norms.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

1. Registration (09:30 AM – 10:30 AM): Candidates must arrive at the venue within the registration window. Candidates arriving after 10:30 AM may not be permitted to appear for the interview.
2. Walk-In Interview: All eligible and registered candidates will appear before a Selection Committee for a personal interview / clinical assessment.
3. Document Verification: Original documents will be verified at the venue. Candidates must carry one set of self-attested photocopies of all relevant certificates.

• No Travelling Allowance (TA) or Dearness Allowance (DA) will be paid to candidates for attending the walk-in interview.
