Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Estimator for Building works (Individual)

  • Essential: Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized institution/University.
  • Experience: Adequate Knowledge of government SoR and OPDW code. Retired Government Engineers are eligible.
  • Desirable: Experience in relevant work shall be given preference. Residence in local jurisdiction shall be given preference.

Eligibility for Estimator for Building works (Firms)

  • Essential: Registered Firms.
  • Experience: Experience in DPR preparation and estimate preparation.

Salary / Stipend

  • The remuneration shall be paid on percentage basis subject to approved project cost on project to project basis subject to approval of competent authority.
  • No other allowance or benefits shall be admissible.

Selection Process

  • Selection shall be made based on eligibility, experience, and technical competence as assessed by the competent authority.
  • The candidate/Firm shall quote the percentage of project cost at which they are willing to engage and the lowest bidder shall be preferred.
  • There might be a video conferencing session if necessary under intimation.

  • Application in format as in Annexure-I.
  • Detailed Bio-data/Resume including contact no.
  • Self-attested copies of educational qualification certificates.
  • Self-attested copy of any government issued ID.
  • Experience certificate if any.
  • No criminal antecedent declaration as in Annexure-II (for Firm) or Annexure-III (for Individual).

Application may be submitted in person/by post/by email. The application must reach the office before 17 January 2026 by 1.00 PM.
