Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Post-Wise Qualifications

• OBG Specialist / Anesthetist / Urologist / Pathologist / Pediatrician: Qualifying Examination pass certificate in the concerned Post Graduation (PG) degree in the relevant discipline.
• Physicians (MBBS/MD): MBBS or MD degree from a recognised institution.
• GDMOs (General Duty Medical Officers): MBBS degree from a recognised medical institution.
• MLHP / CHO / MO (Palle Dawakhana): MBBS / BAMS / B.Sc (Nursing). Candidates who completed B.Sc (N) / GNM from the academic year 2020 onwards must have completed the 6-month Bridge Programme in Community Health (CPC).
• Senior DOTS Plus TB HIV Supervisor: Graduate with a minimum 2-month Computer Course, permanent two-wheeler driving licence, and at least 2 years of work experience under RNTCP or 5 years of experience in any public health programme in a supervisory capacity.
• Staff Nurse / Nursing Officers: B.Sc (Nursing) or GNM qualification.
• ANM / 2nd ANMs: MPHW (Female) Training certificate.
• Lab Technician: MLT Vocational (with Apprenticeship) or B.Sc MLT.
• Pharmacist: D. Pharmacy or B.Pharmacy.
• Psychologist: Post Graduate degree in Psychology.

Age Limit

The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 44 years as on 01-07-2026, in terms of Rule 12(1)(a)(v) of the Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules 1996.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection for all posts under the DM&HO Khammam NHM Recruitment is done on a merit basis through the following criteria:

• Total Marks: 100 marks
• Qualifying Examination Marks: 90 marks (based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination)
• Age Weightage: 10 marks (0.5 marks per completed year of age from 18 years, maximum 10 marks, as on 01-07-2026)
• Selections will follow the Rule of Reservation (RoR), Presidential Orders, and SC/ST reservation rules as per Government of Telangana directives.

No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the selection process or any related activity.

Important Instructions

• Applications received after the due date will be summarily rejected. The District Selection Committee is not responsible for postal delays.
• Selected candidates must maintain their headquarters; positions are not transferable.
• The appointment is on an outsourcing or contract basis for a period of 1 year or till actual need ceases, whichever is earlier. These posts are temporary and not permanent/regular Government posts.
