• Research Associate: Ph.D. in Food Technology / Food Processing / Food Engineering or a relevant discipline. Candidates with research experience during Ph.D./Postdoctoral research in plant proteins, protein characterization, food processing, extrusion technology, meat analogues, or related areas will be preferred. NET-qualified candidates with relevant research experience during their Ph.D. will be preferred.
• Technical Assistant: Bachelor's degree in Food Technology / Food Science / Food Processing / Biotechnology / Life Science or a relevant discipline. Candidates with practical experience in laboratory work, sample preparation, analytical techniques, or handling of laboratory equipment will be preferred. Only candidates with relevant qualifications and experience need to apply.

Project Details & Employment Nature

Both positions are purely temporary and are tenured for a period of two years under a Department of Biotechnology (DBT)-sanctioned research project titled "Investigating Plant Proteins: Molecular and Functional Characterization and Novel Techniques for Development of Sustainable Meat Analogues" in the Department of Food Science and Technology, Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun. The positions do not confer any claim for regular appointment at the University.
