Educational Qualification:
(i) a degree in Engineering in Automobile or Chemical or Computer or Electrical and Electronics or Electrical or Information Technology or Instrumentation and Control or Mechanical or Mechatronics or Metallurgy or Plastic Technology or Power Electronics or Textile Processing Technology or Textile Manufacturing Technology obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grant Commission Act 1956, or

(ii) a diploma in Engineering in Automobile or Chemical or Computer or Electrical and Electronics or Electrical or Information Technology or Instrumentation and Control or Mechanical or Mechatronics or Metallurgy or Plastic Technology or Power Electronics or Textile Processing Technology or Textile Manufacturing Technology obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grant Commission Act 1956 and have about two years experience in the concerned trade in the Government or Local Bodies or Government undertaking Board or Corporation or limited company established under the Companies Act,2013;
(c) possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribe in Gujarat civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967; and
(d) possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
