Fireman and Driver (Class-3)

Number of Vacancy: 138 Posts (Gen-59, EWS-13, SC-09, ST-20, SEBC-37)

Educational Qualification:
(1) The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (HSC) conducted by the Board of Secondary and/or Higher Secondary Education or must have an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government; and

Note: In the case of equivalent qualification in Standard-12, Standard-12 passed from Gujarat Secondary/Higher Secondary Board except NIOS and other State Government/Central Government recognized Boards or Technical Boards may be considered equivalent to Standard-12 in the case of certificates issued by the Government in this regard, in accordance with the circulars/resolutions issued by the Government from time to time.

(2) Must possess a six months training certificate in Fireman from a recognized institution of the State or Central Government or an Industrial Training Institute, a Fireman's training certificate or a Driver-cum-Pump Operator's training certificate from a recognized institution of the State or Central Government; and

(3) The candidate must possess a valid driving license for Heavy Motor Vehicle; and

(4) The candidate must possess the following minimum physical standards as prescribed for the Fireman-and-Driver cadre.

Pay Scale:
INR
19900-63200/- Per Month

Age Limit: Maximum 33 Years.
