• Essential Qualification:
  • Minimum two years Certificate in civil Draftsman obtained from any Industrial Training Institute established by the Government.
  • Basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
  • Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

  • Minimum 18 years, maximum 33 years.
  • Relaxation for disabled candidates:
    • 10 years for general disabled males (up to 43).
    • 15 years for general disabled females (up to 45).
    • 15 years for reserved disabled males (up to 45).
    • 20 years for reserved disabled females (up to 45).
• Disability Requirements: Candidates must possess at least 40% disability as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. The post is reserved for the blindness or low vision category only.

Selection Process

• Competitive written exam in MCQ format (CBRT/OMR).
• Part A: 90 marks (Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Constitution, Current Affairs, Comprehension).
• Part B: 120 marks (Technical subjects).
• Total 210 questions, 3 hours, negative marking 1/4.
• Minimum qualifying marks 40% in each part.
• Document verification for shortlisted candidates.
