Educational Qualification:
- Essential: Passed HSC (Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination) or equivalent.
- Essential: Minimum one-year Sanitary Inspector's Diploma Course from a Government-recognized institution OR a minimum one-year Certificate of Health Sanitary Inspectors from an ITI or any other Government-recognized institute.
- Essential: Basic knowledge of Computer Application as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules.
- Essential: Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi, or both.

Age Limit (as on 15.09.2025):
- Minimum: 18 years.
- Maximum: 33 years.
- Relaxation: Applicable for women, reserved categories, PwD, and Ex-servicemen as per Gujarat Government rules.
Salary:
- Initial (First 5 years): Fixed ₹26,000 per month.
- After 5 years (Regular Scale): Pay Level-4 (₹25,000 - ₹81,100) as per 7th CPC, subject to performance and applicable rules.
Selection Procedure: Single-stage competitive Computer-Based Recruitment Test (CBRT/OMR) with objective MCQ-type questions (Part A: 60 marks, Part B: 150 marks; total 210 marks, 3 hours). Negative marking of 1/4 mark per wrong answer. Candidates must score a minimum of 40% in each part independently. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.

- Reserved (Women, SEBC, SC, ST, EWS, PwD, Ex-servicemen): ₹400
Fee is refunded to candidates who appear for the examination. Payment must be made online.

- Upload Documents: Upload your photograph (5 cm height × 3.6 cm width) and signature (2.5 cm height × 7.5 cm width) in JPG format, each under 15 KB.
- Confirm Application: Accept the declaration and click "Confirm Application". No changes are possible after confirmation.
- Note Confirmation Number: Note the Confirmation Number generated for all future correspondence.
- Pay Fee: Pay the application fee online by 29 July 2026 (11:59 PM) and save the payment receipt.

Key Instructions for Candidates
- Corrigendum: The original notification has been revised. The total vacancies increased from 75 to 173, and the application window has been reopened. Pay close attention to the revised dates.
- Reserved Categories: Reservation benefits apply only to candidates who are original residents of Gujarat belonging to the respective reserved category.
- Computer Knowledge: Candidates without a basic computer knowledge certificate at the time of application can still apply but must submit proof before appointment, failing which selection will be cancelled.
