Educational Qualification & Experience:Bachelor's degree in specified disciplines (BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Sc. with Maths/Stats, B.A. with Stats/Eco/Maths). Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Gujarati or Hindi are required. No prior experience is mentioned as mandatory.
Skills:Accounting, financial management, knowledge of municipal finance, computer applications (MS Office, accounting software), communication in Gujarati/Hindi.
Age Limit:Minimum 20 years and Maximum 35 years as on 21.08.2026. Relaxation: Women (5 years), Reserved categories (5 years), PwD (10-20 years), Ex-servicemen (Service period + 3 years).
Salary (per month):
Fixed Pay (First 5 years): ₹49,600 per month. Regular Pay Scale (After 5 years): Level-7 (₹39,900 - ₹1,26,600) per month.
Selection Procedure:
- Stage 1 – Preliminary Examination (Objective/MCQ): Screening test of 150 marks. Qualifying marks: 40% for all categories. Marks are not counted for the final merit.
- Stage 2 – Main Examination (Descriptive): Two papers (Gujarati & English Language, and Accountancy & Auditing) of 100 marks each. Minimum 40% in each paper.
- Final Merit: Based solely on the marks obtained in the Main Examination.
Application Fee:
- Preliminary Exam: ₹500 (General), ₹400 (Reserved Categories).
- Main Exam: ₹600 (General), ₹500 (Reserved Categories).
Only the Preliminary Exam fee must be paid at the time of application. Fees are payable online.
