Educational Qualification & Experience:Candidates must have completed a minimum 1-year Multi-Purpose Health Worker course, Diploma in Sanitary Inspector, or Health Sanitary Inspector course from a recognized institution. Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Gujarati or Hindi are mandatory. No prior experience is required.
Skills:Public health, supervisory skills, health education, knowledge of national health programmes, computer applications.
Age Limit:Minimum 18 years and Maximum 33 years as on 15.08.2026. Relaxation: Reserved category male candidates (5 years), General PwBD (10 years), Reserved PwBD (15 years), Ex-servicemen (Service period + 3 years).
Salary (per month):
Fixed Pay (First 5 years): ₹26,000 per month. Regular Pay Scale (After 5 years): Level-4 (₹25,500 - ₹81,100) per month, subject to satisfactory service and pending court cases.
Selection Procedure:
- Stage 1 – Written Examination: Objective MCQ-based exam (210 marks, 3 hours). Part-A (90 marks): Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Constitution, Current Affairs, Comprehension. Part-B (120 marks): Technical questions related to MPHS. Minimum 40% qualifying marks in each part.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification in order of merit.
- Final Selection: Based on exam marks and document verification.
Application Fee: ₹500 (General), ₹400 (Reserved Categories). Payment is online and non-refundable. Fee is refunded only to candidates who appear for the exam.

- Visit Official Website: Go to ojas.gujarat.gov.in.
- Select Recruitment: Click on "Online Application," select "GSSSB," and then click on Advertisement No. 452/202627.
- Fill Application: Click "Apply Now," fill in Personal and Educational details accurately.
- Save & Generate Number: Accept the declaration and click "Save" to generate an Application Number. Save this number.
- Upload Documents: Upload a recent photograph (5cm x 3.6cm) and signature (2.5cm x 7.5cm) in JPG format (under 15 KB).
- Confirm Application: Review all details and click "Confirm Application." No changes are allowed after this step. A Confirmation Number will be generated.
- Pay Fee: Pay the application fee online before 18th August 2026 (11:59 PM).
- Print Application: Download and print the confirmed application form for future reference.
Important: The application window is open from 1st August 2026 (2:00 PM) to 15th August 2026 (11:59 PM). Only one application per candidate is allowed.

Key Instructions for Candidates
- Eligibility: This post is for male candidates only. Women are not eligible to apply.
- Application Mode: Applications are accepted only online through the OJAS portal.
- Photograph: Upload a recent passport-size photograph with a white background. Keep 4-5 copies for future stages.
- No Corrections: No changes are allowed after the application is confirmed. Fill the form very carefully.

- Exam Pattern: Understand the two-part exam structure. There is negative marking (0.25 marks). Minimum 40% is required in each part.
