Applications are invited For walk-in interview for post of Field Assistant on contract basis initially tor a period of six Months or till the termination of the Project whichever is earlier on in the Scheme, "ICAR-54: Integrated Approaches 1. Post Name : Field Assistant 2. Qualification : Bachelors degree (BSc.) in Agriculture/DipIoma in Veterinary Science & Animal Health Technology (DVSc.& AHT with minirnum OGPA or 60% Marks. Knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric level. 3. Desirable: Experience in conducting field surveys in villages. recording and analysis of data along with know ledge of Punjabi English will be preferred. 4. Emoluments : Rs 15,000/- per Month 5. No of Post : 02

It was a part of Punjab Agricultural University and was established on 9 August 2005 to serve the society by promoting the livestock production, health and prevention of diseases through integrated teaching and extension programs. The mission of the college is to produce veterinary graduates, scientists and extension workers for promoting better livestock health, by prevention of disease, increasing production and reproduction of livestock, thus improving the quality of rural life in Punjab.
