Educational Qualification:
1. B.Sc. degree in any relevant branch of Life Sciences/Biological Sciences/Agriculture with at least second class.
2. PhD in Agriculture Biotechnology/Plant Biotechnology with a minimum OCPA of 6.5/10.0 or 65% marks. Preference will be given to the candidates with teaching experience/ expertise in the topics Plant Molecular Biology, Plant Genetic Engineering, Plant Tissue Culture, Molecular Plant Breeding, Plant Microbe Interaction and Plant Hormones and Signaling.
3. Candidate should have cleared matric level Punjabi examination. The candidates without knowledge of Punjabi may be considered / appointed provided no suitably qualified/experienced candidate with knowledge of Punjabi is available.
