King George's Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow, has released a notification for the recruitment of Senior Resident (Un-registered) and Non-PG Junior Resident posts. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can attend the Walk-in-Interview scheduled for 19th & 20th January 2026. Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Senior Resident (Un-registered)

• Essential Qualification: Candidates should have passed M.D./M.S./DNB recognized by MCI/NMC.
• Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 45 years as per NMC rules.

Eligibility for Non PG Junior Resident

• Essential Qualification: Candidates should have passed MBBS (including completion of Internship) equivalent degree recognized by MCI.
• Age Limit: Upper age limit is 40 years as on the date of Interview. Age relaxation (max 5 years) applies to SC/ST/OBC candidates with UP domicile, widowed/divorced women, and disabled persons.
• Experience: Candidates can apply only up to 5 years from their internship completion date. Maximum service allowed is 36 months total (max 18 months in one department).
• Reservation: Reservation applies as per UP Government rules. Only candidates with UP domicile are eligible for reservation benefits.

• UR & OBC: Rs. 3,000/-
• SC & ST: Rs. 2,000/-

How to Apply

1. Download the application form from the KGMU website.
2. Fill the form and attach self-certified copies of relevant documents.
3. Submit the application by hand to the Office of the Medical Superintendent by 14th January 2026.
4. Attend the Walk-in-Interview at the specified venue (Committee Hall, Medical Superintendent Office) with all original documents.
