Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for Assistant Professor Grade-I
- Essential: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
- Experience: A minimum of three years post Ph.D. teaching / research / professional experience (excluding experience gained while pursuing Ph.D.).
- Desirable: Demonstrated research capabilities in terms of publications in reputed journals and conferences.
Eligibility for Assistant Professor Grade-II
- Essential: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree.
- Experience: Candidates satisfying all criteria for Grade I except the post-Ph.D. experience requirement. They may have post-doctoral experience which determines their pay level.
- Desirable: Good academic record and research potential.
General Eligibility
- Nationality: Indian Nationals; Foreign Nationals (PIO/OCI/Other) are also eligible subject to Government of India permissions.
- Reservation: As per Government of India norms.
