Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Post Doctoral Fellowship: PhD degree from a recognized University. Candidates must demonstrate a proven academic record throughout, including:
• At least Two (2) SCI / SCIE / ESCI indexed research publications with the applicant as the first author.
• At least Two (2) conference presentations (in India or abroad) OR equivalent granted patents with documented proof.
• Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on the notified cutoff date. Age relaxation for reserved categories will be applicable as per Government of India / GGSIPU norms, if applicable.
• Other Requirements: Candidates must have completed their PhD within the last few years (as per the specific eligibility clause in the official notification PDF) and must possess outstanding research credentials as evidenced by publication quality and academic recognitions.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

1. Step 1 — Shortlisting of Applications: Applications will be screened based on academic qualifications, quality and quantity of indexed publications, conference presentations/patents, and overall research record. The tentative date for announcement of shortlisted candidates is 16 October 2026.
2. Step 2 — Presentation-cum-Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for a presentation and interview, tentatively scheduled on 23 October 2026. Candidates will present their research work followed by an interactive panel discussion on their proposed research direction for the fellowship.
3. No TA/DA Will Be Paid: Candidates are required to bear their own travel and accommodation expenses for attending the Presentation-cum-Interview. GGSIPU does not provide any travel or daily allowance for this recruitment process.
