Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) Invites Application for JRF Recruitment 2022

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DST-SERB sponsored research project entitled "Strategic Activation of Nrf2 Attenuates S/eep Deprivation induced Alzheimer's Like Cognitive Dysfunctions in Mice".

1. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

2. Essential Qualification: Master's Degree (with min 55% marks) in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology and Biochemistry/ or equivalent.

3. Emolument: Emolument shall be applicable as per DST OM dated 30.01 .2019. 31,000/- p.m. to Scholars who have qualified through (a) National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, lClVR, llT, llSc, IISER etc

4. Desired Qualification: Candidates having experience of cell culture and/or stereotaxic surgeries neurobehavioral studies will be preferred.

5. Tenure: initially till 31/1212022 and is extendable on yearly basis as per DST-SERB rules.

Selection Procedure

Only Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The date and mode of interview will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates through e-mail only. Curriculum Vitae should contain details of the experimental expertise and list of publications.

No TAJDA will be given for attending the interview if called for
