Educational Qualification: Any Masters Degree, M.Phil/Ph.D
In pursuance to the permission accorded by the Director of Higher Education, Assam vide letter No. DHE/CE/Misc/122/2020/15 dated kahilipara the 11-04-2022, applications in prescribed format with complete Bio-Data including contact number, valid E-mail ID and all supporting testimonials from HSLC (10 standard exam) onwards are invited from intending candidates for filling up the post of Principal, B.P.Chaliha College, Nagarbera. The application must be submitted through proper channel with an NOC from the concerned authority. Necessary qualifications and guidelines are mentioned below:
1. Position: Principal
2. Qualification:
a) A Master's degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed, from a recognized University.
b) A Ph.D degree in concerned/allied/relevant discipline(s) in the institution's concerned with evidence of published work.
c) Associate Professor/Professor with a total service/experience of at least fifteen years of teaching/research in universities/Colleges and other Institutions of Higher Education.
d) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (AP) based performance appraisal (PBAS) as set in the UGC regulation for direct recruitment of Principals in Colleges.
e) A minimum of 10 research publications in peer reviewed or UGC listed journals. (Must attach self attested valid supporting documents)
f) A minimum of 110 research score as per at Table-2 (UGC guideline dated 18.07.2018).
3. The term of Principal shall be of 5 years as per guidelines issued by the Government of Assam.

Application should be in the prescribed proforma issued by the DHE, Assam and to be submitted to the President, Governing Body, B.P.Chaliha College, Nagarbera, Kamrup, Assam, Pin-781127 within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication of the advertisement along with a demand draft of Rs. 3000/- (three thousand) only (non-refundable) drawn in favour of Principal, B.P.Chaliha College, Nagarbera, Kamrup, Assam payable at SBI, Mirza Branch. The advertisement is also uploaded in the College website www.bpchalihacollege.org.in
2. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates called for interview. Incomplete/defective applications will be rejected at the time of scrutiny, and no call letter will be issued to such candidates.
