Eligibility Criteria for Senior Scientific Officer (DNA)

Essential Qualification

  • M.Sc. (1st Division) in Zoology/ Physical Anthropology/ Genetics/ Bio-Chemistry/ Bio-technology/ Micro-Biology/ Molecular Biology/ Forensic Science or its equivalent qualification in any of the above subjects with Zoology/Botany as one of the subjects at B.Sc. level.
  • Three years research and analytical experience in DNA Finger Printing.
  • Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric standard or Higher Education.

Desirable Qualification

  • Experience of working in Forensic Science Laboratory.

Age Limit

  • Minimum: 20 years
  • Maximum: 45 years (as on 01-02-2025)
  • Age relaxation applicable as per government rules for reserved categories.
