4. Essential: Recognized included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule Medical qualification other than licentiate qualifications to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. The holders of educational qualification included in Part-II of the third schedule should fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub Section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Completion of compulsory rotating internship.
5. Desirable: Post Graduate Degree or Diploma included in the first or schedule or part-II of the third schedule Second (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. The holders of educational qualification included in Part-II of the third schedule should fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub Section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. A post graduate qualification from a recognized institution as mentioned in Appendix-A to the Notification No: Health-AA(3)2/97(Loose) Dated: 09-03-2012 adopted by the University vide Notification No.: 3-9/77-HPU(Genl.) Dated:-14-07- 2014 available University on Website.

Selection Procedure
1. The Educational qualifications for the posts at Sr. No. 1 to 3, shaill be the same as prescribed by the UGC under Regulations 2018 and adopted by the University vide Notification No. 3-5/78-HPU(Genl.) Vol-VII Dated- 19-0.-2019 and 21-11-2019. The candidate may also referred to UGC website i.e. http://www.ugc.ac.in.
2. General Knowledge (GK of Himachal Pradesh, India and Intermational GK, the divis:on of marks shall be 20,10,10 respectively)
3. Candidates declared qualified in the written objective type Examination will be cailed for Personalitv test/ TnterviewI
How to Apply:
1. Date for determining the eligibility of all applicants in respect of essential qualification and experience, if any, etc., shall be the prescribed closing date for submission of online application forms i.e.29.01.2022.
2. The Himachal Pradesh University was founded on July 22, 1970. It is located at Summer Hill which is at a distance of 5 kms from the main town, Shimla. The University is nestled amidst tall and lush green trees of deodars, oats, pines and rhododendrons. The location of the University presents a panoramic natural view among the woods, settled around Summer Hill. The camps where one half bathes in the fresh sun towards the east and another half in the grandeur of unique sunset on the West.
