2. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification & Experience
Post A: Officer (Finance)
- Qualification: ICWA / CA / MBA (Finance) / CMA from a recognized university/institute.
- Academic Record: Minimum 60% aggregate marks in graduation (relaxed to 50% for SC/ST candidates).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in a medium/large organization. Preferred experience in Industrial Accounts finalization, Audit, Taxation, Costing & Budgeting.
Post B: Officer (Legal)
- Qualification: Full-time LLB from a recognized university/institute.
- Academic Record: Minimum 60% aggregate marks in graduation (relaxed to 50% for SC/ST candidates).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in a medium/large organization. Preferred experience in Industrial Law and Labour Law.
- Mandatory: Proficiency in computer skills is essential.
Age Limit & Relaxation
- Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
- Age as on: 01.01.2026.
- Relaxation: Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India Directives for SC/ST/OBC categories.
- Ex-Servicemen: Given preference; relaxation as per rules.
- Ex-Apprentices/Contract Employees in HMT: Age relaxation up to the extent of the apprenticeship/contract period.
3. Selection Process
Selection will be done through a merit-based process involving the following stages:
- Application Screening: Checking eligibility and conformity with job requirements.
- Shortlisting: Based on qualifications, experience, and academic record.
- Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Personal Interview or Video Conference (VC).
- Verification: Character & Antecedents verification and Caste verification.
- Medical Examination: Pre-employment medical exam at HMT Hospital.
Travel Allowance: Outstation candidates called for interview will be paid To and Fro II class train fare (shortest route) on production of proof.
4. Salary and Contract Terms
Pay Scale & Benefits
- Pay Scale: PS III – Rs. 8,600-250-14,600 (1997 Pay Scale) with IDA and other allowances.
- Placement: Selected candidates will be placed at the minimum of the pay-scale.
- Allowances: Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Provident Fund (PF).
- Incentives: Monthly and annual incentives eligible during the fixed term.
- Leave: 10 days casual leave + 2.5 days earned leave per year (pro-rata).
Contract Duration (Fixed Term Appointment)
- Initial Period: 2 years.
- Extension: Extendable up to 2 more years (Total max 4 years) based on performance.
- Termination: Either party can terminate with 3 months' notice or salary in lieu thereof.
- Permanency: FTA does not confer any right to claim permanent/regular employment.
