The Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), an autonomous super-specialty Institute of excellence under GNCT of Delhi and a Deemed-to-be-University by the UGC, invites applications for a faculty position. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified professionals to join a global leader in patient care, teaching, and research in the field of Liver, Gall Bladder, and pancreatobiliary diseases.

The institute is recruiting for the post of Consultant (Medical Biostatistics) Grade IV. This is a Direct Recruitment on a contract basis, where selection will be based on screening of applications followed by an interview. There is no written examination for this position.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification & Experience

As this is a Grade IV faculty post, candidates must possess high academic qualifications and relevant experience. Refer to the Recruitment Rules page on the ILBS career portal for specific requirements.

• Essential: Post-Graduation in Statistics/Biostatistics or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Desirable: Ph.D. in relevant field and experience in Medical/Health sector research.
• Mandatory: Working knowledge of Computer is essential.

Age Limit & Relaxation

• Maximum Age: 50 Years for the post of Consultant Grade IV.
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years relaxation.
  • OBC: 3 years relaxation. (Note: For OBC category posts, candidates must possess an OBC certificate issued by GNCT of Delhi).
  • PwD: 5 years relaxation (10 years for SC/ST-PwD and 8 years for OBC-PwD).

Mandatory Requirements

• Working knowledge of Computer is essential for all posts.
• Candidates with disabilities (not less than 40% disability) are eligible for reservation as per the PWD Act, 1995.

Selection Process

Since this is a faculty recruitment for a specialized post, the selection is Direct Recruitment based on Interview.

Selection Stages

1. Screening: All applications will be screened by a Screening Committee as per the Recruitment Rules.
2. Shortlisting: The Institute reserves the right to shortlist candidates based on qualification, experience higher than minimum prescribed, and academic achievements.
3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview.
4. Final Selection: Based on interview performance and verification of documents.
