HPLNG Recruitment 2026: Notification Overview

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation LNG (HPLNG) has released an official notification (Advt No. HPLNG/2026/04) for the recruitment of 4 experienced professionals for the posts of Senior Officer-Safety, Senior Officer-Materials, Senior Engineer-Operations, and Group Manager-Shipping. Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a Full-time regular engineering degree from AICTE approved / UGC recognized University/Deemed University. Minimum marks required:

• UR/OBC-NC/EWS: Minimum 60% marks
• SC/ST/PwBD: Minimum 50% marks

Post-Specific Qualifications & Experience:

• Senior Officer-Safety: Engineering degree in Safety OR Engineering degree with Diploma in Industrial Safety. Experience: 02 years in Safety Management (mandatory 01 year in Large Hydrocarbons Sector/Continuous process plants).
• Senior Officer-Materials: Engineering degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation. Experience: 02 years in Materials Management in Govt/PSU/Process plant/Heavy Engineering.
• Senior Engineer-Operations: Engineering degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation. Experience: 02 years in operations (mandatory 01 year in DCS operations in Large Hydrocarbons Sector).
• Group Manager-Shipping: Degree in Nautical Science / 2nd Mate/1st Mate FG Certificate OR Engineering degree. Experience: 09 years in sailing on Hydrocarbon tanker OR handling shipping/port operations.

2. Age Limit & Relaxation

• Senior Officer/Senior Engineer Posts: Maximum 27 years.
• Group Manager-Shipping: Maximum 50 years.
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC-NC: 3 years
  • J&K Domiciled (01.01.1980-31.12.1989): 5 years
  • Ex-servicemen: Length of military service + 3 years

3. Selection Process

This is a Direct Recruitment process based on merit and interview. No written exam.

1. Online Application Submission.
2. Document Verification & Shortlisting: Based on merit list (category-wise and discipline-wise).
3. Interview: Single stage or multiple stage interview depending on the number of candidates.
4. Medical Examination: Pre-employment medical exam at HPLNG nominated hospitals.
5. Final Merit List: Based on interview and medical fitness.
