Eligibility for Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification: M.E./M.Tech. in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Aerospace Engineering, Ceramics Engineering, or allied discipline OR M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Materials Science/Mathematics from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale with valid GATE/NET. For SC/ST/PwD category, a minimum 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on 10-point scale is required with valid GATE/NET.
Desirable Qualification: Exposure in computational science, computational materials engineering, materials thermodynamics, and simulation-based materials design will be an added advantage. Good communication skills and motivation for pursuing a PhD in Metallurgy & Materials Engineering.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
