Applications are invited from the potential/highly motivated candidates for the post of JRF to work in the international project titled “Evaluating the Feasibility and Efficacy of Integrated Catchment Scale Nature-based solutions for Climate Change adaptation in India (ENACT)” sanctioned by Natural Environment Research Council (UKRI-NERC). 1. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow 2. Area of Specialization: Hydrology and Water Resources Engineering 3. Duration: Up to 31 March 2022 4. Eligibility Criteria: M. Tech. in Civil Engineering with Water Resources Engineering Specialization or equivalent. GATE qualification in relevant discipline is mandatory. Candidates having prior experience in Hydrological, Hydrodynamic Modelling and Climate Change studies will be given preference. 5. Consolidated Salary : Rs. 31, 000/-(per month) + 16% HRA 6. Nature of JOB: The candidate will be involved with a research team working on hydrological and hydrodynamic modelling for understanding the effect of floods and flooding on river corridor. The candidate will work with a vibrant and international team of researchers from Loughborough University (UK), IIT Jammu, IIT Guwahati and IIT Roorkee.
