Eligibility for Junior Research Fellow
- Essential Qualification: First Class B.Tech with valid GATE qualification in Civil Engineering OR M.E./M.Tech in Civil Engineering with First Class at graduate and postgraduate levels from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Desired Experience:
- Working knowledge in interdisciplinary fields of civil & infrastructure engineering.
- Innovative pavement materials (asphalt-rubber, polymers, fibers).
- Advanced materials characterization techniques (FTIR, XRD, SEM, DSC).
- Roadway construction and quality control.
- Vehicle-pavement interaction.
- Pavement condition assessment and evaluation.
- Numerical modeling and analysis.
- Must be willing to work efficiently in a team environment, self-motivated, and work under challenging research conditions.
- Must have mentored undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must have strengths in critical thinking, innovative outlook, hypothesis development, and troubleshooting.
- Must be committed to results and organization.
- Must demonstrate highest work ethics and management skills.
- Must be willing to travel for site visits and roadway construction purposes.
- Age Limit: 30 Years (Age may be relaxed for exceptional candidates).
