3. Name of the Project: 'PAN-CSIR Cancer......Cancers of Indian relevance.'(HCP-40).
4. Project Tenure: 28.06.2026.
5. Qualification required: M.Sc in Chemistry with NET/NET(LS)/GATE/Equivalent OR M.Sc in Chemistry.
6. Desirable: Experience in extraction, isolation, purification and characterization of natural products.
7. Stipend: Rs. 31,000/- OR Rs. 25,000/- plus HRA Per month.
8. The engagement is purely temporary & co-terminus with the project and, therefore, does not confer any right / claim implicit or explicit for regularization or absorption against any IICB / CSIR post. The age and qualifications will be reckoned as on the date of interview. The upper age limit is relaxable for SC / ST / OBC / PH and women candidates as per rules. How to Apply:
1. Interested candidates fulfilling all the above conditions may appear for the walk-in-interview to be held on 12.01.2022 from 10.30 a.m. in the CSIR-IICB Jadavpur Campus with duly filled up Application Form in the prescribed format as furnished herein under the download link and along with the following documents as applicable (original and self attested copy) -
a. Matriculation Certificate in support of your date of birth, All mark-sheets and certificates regarding educational qualification (since Matriculation), No Objection Certificate from the employer if employed, Final Mark Sheet of B.Sc/M.Sc/M.Tech/M.Pharm Examination/Ph.D Certificate, Documentary proof of NET/NET(LS)/GATE/Equivalent, One Passport size photograph, Caste certificate (where ever applicable).
2. In view of the existing Covid-19 Induced scenario, all the applicants are required to scrupulously follow the Covid-19 appropriate behaviour and extent guidelines on the matter.

Indian Institute of Chemical Biology (IICB) is a biomedical research center in Kolkata, West Bengal. It was established in 1935. It was named as Indian Institute of Experimental Medicine (IIEM). Later on, IIEM was included in Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) in the year of 1956 and renamed to its present form in 1982.
